Marrakesh Shoplog

Last week I went to Marrakesh with my mom (article about the trip on its way!). Here's the stuff I (or we) bought for myself (ourselves).

1 - Leather sandals: 70dh
2 - Powder for facemask: 15dh
3 - Arganoil: 100dh (not sure)
4 - Black soap: 15dh
5 - Silver bracelets: 300dh for 2
6 - Necklace with turkoise en coral: 410dh
7 - Terracotta footscrub: 5dh
8 - Berber perfume: 200dh
9 - Tealight holder: 15dh
10 - Copper lamp: 400dh
11 - Leather slippers (for a friend): 70dh

1 Moroccan dirham (dh) = 0.09EUR

My very favorite is the necklace, I think it's the perfect necklace for me. It was also the cheapest I ran into. In other shops the starting price  was 1200dh. Actually it isn't perfect yet, at the moment it is too long but we decided to buy it and let someone make it shorter here in Belgium. Everything we bought is actually very Moroccan. And there's a loooot more typically Moroccan stuff we could have bought, but you can't have everything! For my father we brought spices, a book and CD's and for my boyfriend and brother a guimbri, a musical instrument typical to the Moroccan Gnawa. And leather slippers for my boyfriend as well. (Most of these prices are after negotiation, they give you a price way too high, you give them a price way too low and then you make a compromis.)
